im going for a three day trip to kuala lumpur this friday with my mom. yes, with my mom only. and we're taking a coach there. taking the car to malaysia is dangerous nowadays. you can never be too careful there. one wrong stranger and poof! your car is gone just like that. other than that, malaysia is a really nice place to be. cheap stuffs and cool places. anyway, the purpose for us going there is to do some shopping for my stuffs before school starts. hehe.

last saturday, i went down to Ngee Ann Polytechnic to settle all the necessary stuffs that i don't think i'll be able to handle it on my own at home. had an eye checkup done. i thought i was one but i was amazed that i actually scored a freakin full marks for the test. wow. what a great start to a new school. went to the laptops galore there and was quickly attacked by promoters from different brands. acer was boasting on their technology and how fast their laptops are. they even lifted the really expensive thing up to about three inches from the table and dropped it. what the shit? i swore i almost slapped his pathetic face. then we went over to lenovo's booth. we were greeted by this really super good-speaking promoter. i thought he was some politician or something. the way he explained the benefits of his products just made me wanna be like him. damn. and yar, he dropped the laptop too. this time even higher than that dropped by acer's promoter. what's up with them? that's not the way to sell your stuffs. anyway, i bought the acer laptop. lenovo was freakin expensive and i was told that they were using old technology.

went to esplanade with dearest eisley after that. this was unplanned but hey, i'll do anything for her. hehe. met jassy and friends there. settled by the riverside with them before proceeding to marina bay to join analena, zul, man, iskandar, eira and faiz. i didnt know that they were a funny bunch of people. laughed my shoes off. dad picked me and dearest eisley up and off we went to have supper at adam road. how i wished some family would just be happy with each other and appreciate the things one another do. i feel sad. nevermind. things will get better someday. i hope so.

as for today, i went to extend my passport for the kuala lumpur trip with emek. went to beach road after that and there was this old malay woman by the staircase calling out to us. she was selling crackers for one buck a packet. out of sympathy, we paid two bucks for just one packet but she refused saying that she had to give us two packets. after a round of window shopping we had our meal and i saw that same old woman drinking ice lemon tea. she walked up to me and asked me what i was eating. after telling her, she looked at me and said she was hungry. damn. i just felt the urge to buy her a meal but she already left to a malay couple who then bought her a meal. as we about to go, a malay-speaking chinese man came up to us and told us that the old woman actually had a daughter. her daughter would then collect all the money collected from the old woman from all the crackers she sold and kept it for herself. i was pissed. with the daughter that is. how can someone do something so despicable to an old woman or in this case her own mother. fucking shit. what is this world becoming into?!

okay enough. fun part about today was that we went to watch The Hills Have Eyes with zee and nas at cineleisure. stupid show. i hate gory shows. and this was one of them. really shittie and bloody. oh yar, it was an M-18 movie. hehe. met up with adib at esplanade and had a couple of snacks. okay. long post for today huh? i just felt like posting. bored. anyway, it's one in the morning now.
